"beautiful property with stunning views. Limited underwhelming food options, Overpriced food and drink, 15% gratuity added to everything plus unknown taxes added to bill at the end. The "free" continental breakfast is a small plate of unappetizing fruit plus a couple slices of toasted bread with butter. No spa but I may have been able to book a massage, no work out/gym facilities -- so it was not as advertised. Also -- the check in clerk could have been more helpful with directions and...

"The ambient, service and courtesy were fenomenal, the only thing I considered cumbersome will be how difficult the access road is, specially if guests will be bringing larger vehicles Road is too steep and narrow"

"This hotel is simply beautiful. The staff makes you feel like royalty. The view is beautiful but not accessible or visible from the inside. I wish they build an observation deck in the future. Great conservation of the building. Neat clean all around. Great gourmet food. The best was breakfast. I missed a hair dryer, but a small detail for such a wonderful experience."

"Beautiful grounds and gardens. View from restaurant is stunning. Private parking was so helpful and provided peace of mind. Included breakfast is excellent! Rooms are adequate, but small. Beds were ok. Conveniently located to lake side park on one side and shops on the other. Restaurant food and service is very good! One of our favorite places on Lake Atitlan"
