From getting us a rollaway bed, to giving recommendations when it rained and we had to pivot our plans. He was so personably and truly cared about us as guests! "One dude of the property is beside a fast food and ice cream bar and for some reason they play music extremely loud our first morning it was 8.45am the second morning was 8am it was quite disturbing and took away any tranquil feeling I had and wanted. Our third morning I don’t know what time they started as we left the night before so we could sleep in and not be woken by loud music. Our room number was 114 avoid it if you don’t like to hear loud music."

"We stayed for four nights in the beautiful bayside room. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious breakfast with pro tips for what to do in the area that day, as well as the common rooms to hang out. The location is very convenient for walking to restaurants, the Jamestown harbor, and driving over to Newport. We are sad to leave and look forward to coming back."

"Got this as a gift for our anniversary. This is really a wedding venue and most folks seem to stay for the wedding and are up late and making noise and then out the next day. We had a 2 night stay - no room cleaning service for the price. We were just around corner from reception which doubles as a wine bar in afternoon, hangout in evenings and breakfast bar in am. "We have been going to Shelter Harbor Inn for decades. After its most recent renovations, the Inn is absolutely beautiful. The design of the inn is lovely. The grounds are stunning. And very importantly, the staff is excellent. There was some confusion re our check in and both the young woman who checked us in (Laci V) and the young woman who checked us out (Laci M) handled the situation perfectly. Sadly, we were only there for one night most recently but we will return."

"I was very disappointed with my stay at The Shore House. The room service was poor, and the housekeeping staff was unprofessional. When I asked for the bed sheets to be changed, the maids rolled their eyes, spoke to each other in Spanish, and made me feel like I was inconveniencing them instead of helping a guest.
