"Avons réservé une chambre dans ce bel établissement authentique de Dordogne. Avant de partir de Bordeaux, j’ai appelé pour savoir s’il était aussi possible de déjeuner, grand bien m’en a pris car notre déjeuner foi gras et cœur de canard était juste un régal assaisonné comme nous apprécions. Puis avons été accompagné à la chambre. Une chambre certes petite (mais cela était bien dans le descriptif) et refaite à neuf où rien ne manque (serviette savon etc etc). "We loved this hotel. Amazing setting on the river with picturesque views in two directions from our corner room. Utterly charming in every way. The self serve Italian coffee machine in the salon is fantastic. Walk to everything in the delightful village with many riverside park areas. We took short drive to Brantome for an excellent dinner. Can’t edit to go back!"

"This is a charming and elegant facility with a friendly, helpful proprietor who went out of his way to provide a comfortable and pleasant stay. A couple with two to four children would feel like a royal family here. Low-to-the-floor beds and lack of adequate storage space were a bit awkward for two older ladies in what would be the children's room. All in all, a delightful experience."
