"The Hotel Orleans was very well located if you intend to visit the old quarter and down to the river. While the rooms are quite 'cosy' they are well appointed and clean. The staff were all happy and smiling and eager to help with information about Orleans for your stay. Car parking is located under the square just a 2-3 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel issues you with a card before you enter the car park which you need to scan on entry and exit for a better rate than if you took a ticket...

"It was a privilege to stay in this hotel. Wonderful architecture and characterful accommodation. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the food is excellent. If you like bland custom built corporate chain hotels this is not for you. But if you would like a unique experience and to know that by staying you are helping to fund its renovation then the Grand Hotel de l’Abbaye will suit you very well."

"Excellent service. The room was clean and in very good condition, but very cramped and impossible to access both sides of the bed. The bathroom was equally small, but was very clean and the shower was excellent. There was plenty of secure parking and the breakfast was good."
