Booked for a night for my family(with kids) to rest in! Check-in and parking was easy and convenient. Didnot charge any deposit, just ID was needed for check in. Loved the ambience of the room with both wall mirrors. Reception area was nice and quiet. No breakfast at the motel, just coffee in the morning. Coffee maker wasn't there in the room. The heater in the room was ancient and loud. Shower pressure was good but that creaked as well. The paint was peeling off especially at the mirror edges and in washroom. Oven plate wasn't able to rotate, missing an accessory. Whatever I've kept in the fridge was spoiled by the morning. So, I'm not sure how good was it functioning. Used tissue roll in the washroom and we ran out of paper napkins within 5mins of entering the room which didn't make good impression!

It's near gas and many fast food/casual eateries, as well as the Interstate. They do not charge for pets, which is amazing and awesome and I appreciate that. However, it was not very clean. The pillow cases smelled musty, there was a hairball in the bathroom floor, a long hair in the bed, and several different hairs in the bath. The worst though, the bath slow drained and filled up as I showered. Same with the sink. Also, there are various cosmetic repairs needed with missing molding here and there. The coffee was good, the staff friendly. To me, if I were a hotel proprietor, the number one task would be cleanliness. Nothing else matters nearly as much as cleanliness. Cute towel holders, cute chairs, lipstick on a pig updates, none of that matters if the place isn't clean. Squeaky clean. Maddeningly clean. If it's clean and fresh, then everything else is just icing on top. This hotel did not meet that standard by far. But the free pet clause kept it from being a worse rating. I do appreciate that as most hotels just take advantage and charge you $25 or more.

Overall the hotel was really nice and the location was convenient. The staff were all really nice as well. The only issue i had staying here was the walls are super thin. I stayed here with my daughter and we could hear the couple next door for both nights. The sheets had some stains and ripps. I don’t think i’d stay here again.

Pros: The hotel is relatively clean and allows large pets without a fee. Parking is easy . Friendly staff. Con’s: There are no amenities other than soap in the bathroom and the bedsheets had a rip in them. The front desk staff couldn’t find the second room on our reservation, even though we had booked the two rooms together. The cleaning staff failed to close the door to our room after making the beds causing our room not to be secure.
