"The Delta King is the perfect hotel for a stay in Old Sacramento. Easy walking distance from the train station, close to museums and shops. Entertaining wild life on the river including sea lions and geese. We had dinner at the restaurant and the service was excellent. The hotel itself is charming, and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud."

"I recently stayed at this hotel and had a generally pleasant experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made check-in and the overall stay feel comfortable. The room itself was beautiful and extremely spacious. The bathroom was beautiful as well, the jacuzzi tub was amazing! There was even a walk in closet! However, there were a few issues that took away from the experience. When I went to use the shower, I noticed leftover soap and a partially used mini shampoo bottle inside of the shower, which made it seem like the shower hadn’t been fully cleaned. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles in the shower were empty, but the hotel does provide little tubes of each with more in the hall if needed. Additionally, one of the shower heads and the detachable spray head were not functioning properly. The WiFi was also spotty which honestly wasn’t too bad because we were out most of the time. Overall, the hotel has great potential with its friendly staff and beautiful rooms, but attention to detail with cleanliness and maintenance would really improve the stay. That being said I would definitely come stay again!"
