"Sarah is an incredible host! She was accommodating for our evening check in and helped arrange babysitting. Traveling with two toddlers isn't easy, but she was so helpful and made us feel right at home. I'll miss their comfortable bed and luxurious bedding. The kids loved bubble baths in the tub. The Tilling Suite was perfect for our family of 4 and a friend who joined. "

"Beautiful old Inn in a perfect location for exploring historic Rye. Very comfortable room. Comfortable bed, fluffy pillows and luxury touches such as quality toiletries, Nespresso machine with quality coffee pods and selection of up market teas. Delicious breakfast included. Great value for money for this area. We would certainly stay here again. Very nice food and great drinks selection including good cask ales. Cheap car parking not far away as well as Rye Station 5 minutes walk away."

"Beautiful old hotel with great character and wonderfully furnished with period pieces. You are staying in an elegant country house in beautiful grounds. The breakfast room is large and luxurious and the staff are attentive and friendly. It's a great start to the day.
Although we notified reception, there was no heating in our bedroom and bathroom for the last 24 hours. It was very cold. The compensation of £20 off the £120 room rate was quite underwhelming.
