Really enjoyed my stay here. No complaints - Friendly owners, clean rooms, breakfast was great with lots of choice. About a 20 minute walk down to the centre. Will look here first next time I come to Ryde.

The Hotel was tired and on an extremely noisy road, double glazing was inefficient. Carol the proprietor fell over herself to be very helpful. Room was clean but facilities were lacking i.e. tiniest tv seen for years needed to sit on top of it i.e. end of bed to see picture. Breakfast was adequate, cereals, yogurt and plenty of toast but full english...nah!! No sausage, no hash browns, no mushrooms, no fried bread, no choice of egg style. Had issues with toilet not flushing several times, unhealthy having to leave overnight full, then mysteriously flushed in morning. Lot of mould in shower and bathroom shelf was never cleaned where there was a daily build up of toothpaste. Bed was never made. Plenty of tea, coffee and milk and 1 small bottle of water daily (bit strange when 2 persons in the room). Sadly, too far out of Ryde town, (area called Elmfield) to walk with so many steep hills a description should have been put on website. Had to do my own homework to find nearest bus route, no wonder very popular with Walkers who all the regular guests were during our stay. Pleasant 10 minute walk down nearby lane to beach at far end of esplanade near Appley Tower.

A short break in Ryde
We decided on a short break on the IOW during Cowes Week using our bus passes rather than drive. Park Lodge has bus stops right outside and they go every 30 mins. It's a short trip down to the Esplanade which is where the buses, ferries, hovercraft and train all meet. Our hosts were very welcoming, our room was very clean and the full English breakfasts were delicious..

I stayed at this B&B for 3 days and I was so impressed with how good it was especially for the value of staying there. The lady who ran this was lovely and kind and the upkeep of the hotel was amazing. Bed was comfortable and the breakfast every morning was great with multiple options to choose from. If I go back to Ryde then I will definitely be staying at this place again.

The hosts were very welcoming and the room (at the front of the property) was spacious and very clean and hygienic. The bed was comfortable and there was lots of room to store things. Tea and coffee in the room - and the provision of a small jar of quality instant coffee was a great idea. The bathroom was extremely well fitted and modern. The shower was great. The TV was small, but when you're on holiday I don't think you want to spend all your time staring at the television anyway! Breakfast was plentiful and good quality with fresh fruit also available. No complaints there. I was able to park on the forecourt - parking is a bit tight but not a problem and, anyway, there is lots of free parking on the road, if you need it. You don't need to worry about parking. As someone who's travelled the world I can say with certainty that Park Lodge is absolutely fine.

Excellent hotel with a friendly , helpful and professional lady manager . Breakfast was good quality and quantity was also prefect . Clean room with ensuite shower . 15 min walk down to the beach or to the shopping centre . There is a nice local pub just a 2 min walk away and a small supermarket shop in a 5 min walk.

Good value for money
This was a lovely little B&B. The hosts were great, very helpful and friendly with a great variety for breakfast. Only slight negative would be that the room at the front was a little noisy from the traffic but not too bad with the window shut. Would recommend as great value for money and would stay again.

Lovely Stay Would Come Back Again!!
Had a lovely stay there for 2 day nights. The couple that run the Hotel were really friendly and gave me extra toast each morning at breakfast. Also the number 3 bus to Ryde bus stop is situated just a few yards away from the Hotel which was very convenient. It would of been really handy if we knew this before we arrived, as on the day of arrival we had quite a steep hilly walk to Park Lodge from Ryde Pier. Maybe Hotels.com can add this information about the Number 3 bus from Ryde stopping just outside Park Lodge B&B when people look up this Hotel in future on their website.

Very enjoyable 3 night stay, which we'd booked way before the IOW Festival was rescheduled over the same dates! But other than around Newport the island was fine. Very welcoming hosts and staff, relaxed atmosphere, good breakfast options. Would recommend.

Pleasant Stay at Park Lodge.
Park Lodge was very clean and comfortable. Friendly owners and staff. Very good breakfast, top quality bacon and eggs. Cereals, Bananas and yoghurts. They also provided me with Gluten Free bread. About 20-25 minutes walk to seafront.

Short break in IOW
We had a nice stay at Park Lodge . Breakfast is limited but we'll cooked and presented. Room was spacious and comfortable, excellent en suite. A more favourable impression would be given if th bath towels were bigger. Park Lodge is brilliantly situated for the local buses. We recommend rover tickets on the buses. It beats the faff of driving and parking. Carol and Chris are excellent hosts.

Clean good sized rooms, excellent hosts. I found the matress a bit uncomfortable on the first night, but got used to it. Would recommend and would stay again. Breakfast choices of cereal, fruit, yogurts and english were good.
