"Premises would be best described as Runmere MOTEL. The accommodation block is detatched and across the car park from main reception area. OK if you like US style Motel accommodation, I personally din't and would not have booked if I had been aware of this. Rooms are very basic, but adequate. "The room had been cleaned and the bathroom was nicely finished, but there stains around the bed frames and the main room area was small. I would suggest the size of the room/bathroom was similar to that of a Holiday Inn express. The gym was in keeping with the size of most hotel gyms, but not big enough for them to let non-hotel residents use too."

"We were very unimpressed with the state of the building. We were in a tiny room in the attic with a bathroom that had no air con or extraction or any window that would open. The main room had a single socket that was practicably useful but from which it was impossible to position a fan to point at the beds. "The rooms were okay, but they could definitely use some updating. My biggest issue was with the drop-off situation at the front entrance. I stopped briefly to unload bags and was later charged £35 for being there more than five minutes, even though I specifically asked at the front desk beforehand and was told it would be fine. That experience completely ruined the stay for me. Poor communication and unfair charges are unacceptable. Unfortunately, because of this, I will never stay here again."

"We had the 1 bedroom suite. Fantastic room. Forgot we were in a hotel. Super clean, comfy bed, huge bathroom with shower and separate bathtub. Also a further separate toilet. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Check in was smooth and quick. Can’t fault our stay at all. Easy access to/from train station and to the terminal. One gripe was we the chrome cast wouldn’t work on the bedroom tv but did not affect our stay one single bit. Will 100% stay here again."
