Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames Packages (Flight + Hotel)

I did like the location, close to places to eat and the underground.... but... I guess they were still renovating. I have never stayed in such a small room that I had to move the luggage rack into the hall to be able to sit on the bed and move around. There was a step up almost 1 foot to get into the bathroom. The commode was so close to the wall that I had to sit sideways on it. I could not even stick my hand between it and the wall. The shower you had to step down 6 inches. It was terrible. I guess I should have asked for a handicap room....

The hotel's breakfast is unbelievable. It is worth it to stay at this hotel for the breakfast alone. They are exceptionally good at cleaning the room. The staff is most helpful and they have plenty of staff available. I liked the hotel's location, just a couple of blocks from Victoria Station. Also, several good theaters very close.

Basic, but clean, comfortable and recently redone rooms, No lift, so be prepared to climb some stairs and carry your bag to the summit. (This is true of all the hotels in the area that were built back in the day.) The staff is friendly, helpful and gave us great restaurant recommendations nearby. The price is reasonable and the location is *fantastic*! You are steps from Paddington, there are plenty of decent restaurants and pubs nearby and you are only a short walk from Kennsington Gardens and Hyde Park. Other touristy attractions like the British Museum, Big Ben, War Rooms, etc are close enough to walk to. Highly recommend,

Was in London for a quick getaway. Perfect location for walking to eateries and shops in different neighborhoods. Also near the tube and stops for the tourist bus vendors like Hop On Hop Off. Both the room and common areas were really clean and the staff on site were super helpful.
