"No working AC in room (which they admitted they knew a few rooms did not have and still booked them out) and they were unable to switch my room or provide a fan. The lady at the desk tried her best and was able to switch rooms after the first night of cooking in the room, but no management on site during the weekends for any type of refund. This would not have been a major issue if it had not been high 80’s out and cost approx $300 a night…."

"When entering the hotel upon check in at 9 pm. They had live music in the lobby that was blaring loud. The woman at the check in counter wasn't very helpful just gave me my card to the room with no directions. My room was right next to the elevator on the 3rd floor. Lots of traffic and very loud patrons at all hours of the day and night. The AC is controlled by the hotel. Automatically shuts off which caused me to wake up multiple times in the night sweating pillows were not very firm and bed...

"The location was excellent. Close to several restaurants and a mall. Hotel was clean and rooms were spacious. Was nice having a good size fridge as well as microwave and dishwasher. Rooms were cleaned every other day which was fine. Would definitely stay again."

"We frequently choose older motels that cost less. We look closely at their photos, and if it looks updated and clean we choose it. Usually we find it is owned/managed by an immigrant family, frequently from the Subcontinent, and they do an excellent job with the older property. The Royal Inn in Hudson, Wis., is such a place. It was very clean, the air conditioning worked well on a hot day, parked right in front of our room. Convenient location."

"The room was very clean and pleasant. The breakfast was mediocre. The breakfast server also worked the front desk. He couldn’t keep up with filling the hot breakfast items and the warming pan sat empty for at least 15 min. Coffee pot was empty for at least 10 min. He would be working in the kitchen and then get pulled to the front desk to help a customer there. People had to wait on either end of his duties. A second worker was needed."
