"It's a rustic place that could use a few fairly minor repairs, but it was clean. As each day went on for our 6 night stay, we realized more and more that the staff was phenomenal. We had issues with luggage on our incoming flight, one of their guys called the number fir Iberia Airlines on his phone so I wouldn't have to do an international call. The other jewel of the staff was Mauncy (sp?). She singlehandedly did all the cooking and rtending to tables in the restaurant. It was like all the diners were some of her favorite relatives. She even gave us some of her home grown tomatoes that were incredible"

"This was probably my favorite hotel in the camino portugues! So comfortable and luxurious. Our room was a great size. Our bed was very comfortable, the hotel was unique and interesting. Our bathroom was spa like and I loved the tub after a long day of walking the camino. Very convenient, just off the c amino, and close to restaurants and town. We enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor sitting areas. I would love to come back!"

The staff were friendly, helpful, and always happy to assist whenever I needed anything. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it a great place to relax after a day of exploring. I also really appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, which made traveling alone feel especially easy and enjoyable. The location was convenient, and overall the hotel offered everything I needed for a pleasant and stress-free stay. I would definitely recommend Hotel Villa de Marin to other solo travelers and would happily stay here again!"
