"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Galena, and I can't recommend it enough. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the perfect blend of old-world charm and modern luxury. The hotel is stunningly beautiful, uniquely decorated with thoughtful details that create a warm, inviting atmosphere. The fireplace in the bedroom was such a cozy touch, making the entire experience feel truly special; perfect for a romantic getaway. The location couldn't be better. It’s conveniently situated near the river trailhead, making it easy to enjoy scenic walks and outdoor activities, and just a short stroll to downtown Main Street. Nate was an exceptional host who truly goes above and beyond. He made us feel incredibly welcome and at home from the moment we arrived and was a tremendous asset to our trip, offering fantastic recommendations for local attractions, dining, and activities, and even helping us plan our days to make the most of our time in Galena. His warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made our experience all the more memorable. This property is a true gem; beautifully maintained, uniquely decorated, and equipped with all the modern amenities you could want. We loved every moment and are already planning our return. This is definitely one of the most special places we've stayed, and I can’t wait to come back!"

"Overall this was great. Kids loved the pool area. Everything was super clean. My only drawbacks would be our room was very warm even with AC set at 65....the minute we walked into the hallway the temp drop was obvious. The hotel is obviously doing upgrades which would be nice if done properly; like our bathroom sink cutout didn't fit the counter cut out so there was a large gap/hole between the sink and counter, but that wouldn't keep me from returning. Very nice place and we'll stay again."

"We booked our stay for a festival we were attending. Didn’t look too much into the room details we just needed a place to sleep. Didn’t realize there was a nice pool and they even have an area in the back where you can have a campfire. We were pleasantly surprised! Our room was small, but decent. My only suggestion would be to get better beds. They weren’t the most uncomfortable, but they definitely weren’t the best. And the bed was dangerous to sit on as it would slide on the floor very easily. We would stay here again if the need arises."

"Staff at check in was very nice. Sheets had some stains on one bed.. rooms are big. Beds were very hard. Over all we would stay again but bring blankets in case beds are still hard. Pricing was good. Convenient location."
