beautiful new hotel in a clean peaceful downtown area. Close in walking distance to many activities. will return next year again. problem with browser all choices above are excelent.
Amazing stay. Staff was extremely helpful with a questions we had. Breakfast was great. Not your average continental breakfasts. Bar and food options we good as well. Walking distance to a lot of sites and restaurants if we didn’t want to eat at hotel. Rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. Will stay here again when back in town
Directly across the street from the Strong Museum which was the purpose of our stay. The hotel is new and clean. Staff was pleasant and the in house restaurant served decent food and strong drinks. This hotel will be my go to the next time I visit Rochester.

Hotel was nice and clean with just enough room.
The pool was rather murky (def needed to be shocked) but it was the perfect depth (very shallow throughout). Like ups for waffles was very long - maybe have a French toast or pancake in the buffet to reduce this line. Otherwise very good location for the children's museum and has all necessities
The front desk staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Check in was easy and Elmetrus and Maylee went above and beyond in taking care of us during our stay. When we mentioned that we needed to know how to get to Blue Cross Arena for a lacrosse and hockey game, Elmetrus offered to drive us in the hotel shuttle van herself AND she came to get us after the game when we called her. Maylee gave us excellent suggestions for meals (she suggested the hotel restaurant) but we wanted to explore the neighbourhood. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the downtown Rochester area. The Strong Museum of Play is right across the street too!

Found hair in the bathtub when first enter the bathroom. The room was very noisy, can hear clearly that upstairs and next door was playing on their TV, kids and parents screaming after 11am from upstairs, and outside traffic engine sound very loud.

There was barely any water pressure in the shower (room 317). The pool appeared to be very foggy and creates the appearance of dirty water.
No wifi available during my stay
Suggestion: have two waffle makers as this was a popular breakfast station in the morning
Staff was very friendly and room service was quick. Loved how clean the facilities were.

The room was clean. Location is great. However the swimming pool was small and cold. There was also chipped tile at the bottom that scratched my son's foot.

Dear WenjunThank you for the feedback regarding your recent visit. We are so glad you found the hotel location and Cleanliness to a high level. We are disappointed that you the pool small and cold. We do keep the water temp at 84 degrees and air temp in the mid 70's. Sometime when the air temp is less than water temp it can make it feel colder than it is. We will have all thos numbers checkedThank you again and we look forward to your next visit.Kevin Rosdahl GM

This hotel was super clean! Breakfast was great. Check-in was a breeze. Also I liked that you need your door key to access your floor, no one can walk off the streets.
The property was very nice, but it's location doesn't lend itself to exploring any areas of Interest in Rochester, and after some driving around, I realized the city itself is mainly void of anything of interest, and quite frankly, no one should really ever come here for any reason at all.

Dear JamesThank you for sharing your recent experience with us. I am so glad you enjoyed the hotel and our customer service. I case you come back to Rochester we have many great places to Experience.Right next door us the largest toy and play museum in the country called Strong Museum of Play. The Founder of Eastman Kodak's residence is within walking distance. The High Falls area is 1.5 miles away and has a beautiful walkway bridge over the river so you can look directly at the falls. The Susan B Anthony House is here. Also, there are many great Restaurants and Bars close by,Hopefully you give Rochester another chance. If possible, could you rate you experience based on the hotel only?Thank you
This hotel was excellent for a family trip to the Strong National Museum of Play. It's right across the street so the location can't be any better. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and modern. The gym was well stocked and the pool was nice though definitely too shallow if you were hoping to do laps. Breakfast was delicious and had a great selection. We really have no complaints, especially for the price. Recommended!
