Fine, for a night

This is the only hotel in Roccacasale, Italy. The staff was kind and most helpful with directions and any other questions we had. The room was basic (no bathtub, only a shower). The elevator was broken so we had to carry our heavy up 3 flights of stairs. Also, the blanket was itchy, and there was only coffee to buy in a vending machine. BUT, the village is amazing...old world still exists here!

Great base of operations for a family visit.

Very convenient location. Updated modern hotel with a good restaurant and breakfast. Good for children. Staff was very helpful to Americans with limited Italian.

Initial room given had a great balcony but was very warm and we were unable to cool. On request we were immediately given another room on other side of hotel. Room was adequate and had a view to hills. Unfortunately only one bedside light worked though. Enjoyed walking from hotel to village and up to the ruins at the top. Also found beginning of a listed walk here as well. For dinner, I recommend going 850meters right of hotel to the local inn
