We had an amazing stay at Ibagary. Attended an out of this word friends’ wedding there and spend a few days relaxing at the hotel after the wedding. The beach front location is beautiful and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We felt very well looked after and would recommend this location for a wedding as well as a relaxing beach vacation.

Ibaragi is such a special place—every detail is aesthetically spot-on. From the beautiful Garifuna-inspired artwork to the sweet tangerine scent, everything feels thoughtfully curated. The high ceilings in the rooms add a sense of openness and calm, and the staff are incredibly attentive and genuinely kind. It's a place that truly leaves an impression.

This may be my favorite hotel or resort I’ve ever stayed in. It’s truly exceptional. The property is gorgeous, service is great, food is wonderful. I wish we could stay longer. And I wish I’d listened to the reviews about how magical this place is. We split our stay between here and another well-reviewed hotel. That first hotel was very nice but this place blows everywhere else out of the water. Worth paying a bit more to stay here!

Beautiful Boutique Hotel in Roatán, I don’t for sure but this one is probably the best hotel in the all island. The rooms are amazing, the hotel is beautiful and the sunsets are spectacular!!. The service is excellent. The Luna Muna restaurant is very good. The staff is really great. Highly recommended!!!!

Best Vacation for relaxing and great food

The hotel staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating with all requests, including helping guests to find nearby restaurants, water taxi services, and arranging for car services. The hotel itself is clean, vibrant, and welcoming, with beautiful aesthetics. It offers both indoor and outdoor living spaces and the only beach in the West Bay/westend area that feels private. Additionally, the surrounding area is very safe.

This is a truly great resort. The place itself is beautiful with a great restaurant and has it's own fantastic dive shop. The staff at the restaurant really treat you well. A shoutout to Eduardo, Ruth and Ramon for their excellent service. At the dive shop Axel and Lucy, both are instructors and are very helpful and fun. Axel fixed my flooded dive computer and Lucy fixed my new mask. Ronald was also very helpful at the front desk. Honestly, you can find a better dive group or resort!

Why Ibagari isn't rated higher, I don't know. It has everything you'd expect in a boutique hotel, plus more. 18 rooms! Means no competition for beach chairs, staff attention, snorkeling/diving. The boat taxi is an easy way to go up and down the beach, The restaurant is highly rated so your meals are amazing. Rented a taxi to see the sloth rescue (fun), very reasonable. Would recommend you do not rent a car, the roads are challenging (super high, super low and 1 1/2 lanes wide). Planning on going again next year. Never felt we were in danger.

5 star all around. Service,rooms and food were outstanding. Ocean was not for human enjoyment. Mucky and Grassy. But it’s ok. Its habitat to important marine life and Ibagari offers a free water taxi that you can take to amazing ocean entrances 2 minutes away. I wouldn’t miss out on this amazing resort experience for the enjoyable effort of getting to the west bay beach area. You’ll find fantastic locals that will bring you a chair anywhere you’d like on the beach and many more roatanian hospitality. Louis and his staff are second to none. Waiters and kitchen staff are the best in the business. Duna Divers on property can make any experience that you’re looking for top shelf. From snorkeling , diving ,fishing. This team is impeccable. Axle and Lucilla and Carlos are absolutely amazing and attentive. Bravo Ibagari!

We travel quite frequently and never have we had better service than at Ibagari. We were looking to recharge. We wanted a location that was quiet, peaceful and relaxing. That’s exactly what Ibagari gave us. The property is immaculate. There were options of things to do so we weren’t bored. We made our own custom cocktail with Jessy, the mixologist and had a blast. We hired a private boat for a 3 hour snorkel tour around the island and I took a painting class. Almost all of the hosts and wait staff knew us by name and welcomed us warmly when they saw us. They anticipated our every need. Harrison, Melvin, Luis, Ruth and Jessy have to be the best hospitality employees on the island. It was an absolute joy to spend time at Ibagari.

Amazing hotel with an interesting backstory

I dont even know where to start to be honest because everything about our stay was amazing, and I have a character limit. One thing I really appreciated was that the staff took the time to pay attention to each of us and learn our likes and our dislikes. We never had to ask for coffee or hot tea because the staff already knew that’s how we liked to start our mornings. It made the stay feel extremely personalized. I dont know how they have the brain power to remember so many small details about each guest, but doing so makes it seem like you’re at home with family. The resort was gorgeous, the customer service was the best I’ve ever had on a resort, and the food was delicious. I also learned about the Garifuna people and appreciated being able to immerse into their culture. I cant say enough about this place truly. P
