Ridgeline Hotel at Yellowstone, an Ascend Collection Hotel

"well we arrived at 11pm and left at 5am for Yellowstone. Staff was awesome very friendly but I would not stay here again. Too expensive. It is basically a Super 8. The shower was a plastic enclosure big enough for one and a tiny "one" at that it. I get it: location, location, location but $300 for a road side motel? There was a giant spider in the bathroom in the morning as well. For $300 a night and full parking lot you would think they could have some adequate pest control. On a good note in less than 3 minutes we were at the park entrance. I believe this is the best spot to get to Lamar Valley -- it took us about 70 minutes to get there. "

"The staff that day is not very friendly. Take my payment , no receipt handed to me If I didnt ask him for my receipt. All he says is your room is in the back , 2nd floor in my head where is that at ? Left side or right side? Nothing. No better instruction, no amenities mentioned etc. pay and leave type of service I received."

"Overall, it was a good stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. However, the lobby was quite disappointing, with old and visibly worn-out carpeting that made the common areas feel dated and in need of renovation."
