"Our room was on 4th floor. Two single beds in room. Thankful there was a desk fan in situ as was so very hot during our stay. Room was small but adequate for our needs and as it was only for one night it didn’t feel like we had no space. The bathroom, although quite dated, was very clean and tidy. The shower was set via the taps which did get bit tricky. Was just at temp I liked then as I was washing my hair, it went quite cold, which under the circumstances and how hot it was, it was quite refreshing, but had the outside been a cooler season it wouldn’t have been taken quite so kindly. The shower head was only small but pressure was very good. The shower was over bathtub & Shower curtains are something I thought had gone well out of date but they were lovely white clean new looking so no big issue. We didn’t eat In Hotel but went to a Chinese all you can eat just a short walk away ( Slowboat) where everything is cooked to order and was absolutely gorgeous food, so pleased we went there. The breakfast within the Mill Hotel was adequate. The situation of the Hotel is great for walking into the centre, along the canal. The only downside for us was that there was no fridge in room, which would have been very welcome considering the weather, as we couldn’t keep any drinks cold in room, but despite this we would definitely not hesitate to stay at The Mill again."

"First time staying at this hotel, on entry the staff were very welcoming, facilities were more than expected. Good food, amazing sleep as our bed was very comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for the weekend."

"Although the room was abit dated, we had everything we needed. Janice was amazing and did all she could for us. In the room there is a lack of sockets. The restaurant next door was excellent. Quick service and reasonably priced. Breakfast was good and food was piping hot."

"This hotel is in a great location for travelling from Liverpool Airport! Access is easy and rooms are quiet and comfortable with all the amenities tea/coffee and iron! We missed breakfast because of an early flight. Continental is served from 4am and buffet from 6am. I have added a pic which shows the departure terminal across from the hotel this was taken from our room. Highly recommended 👌"

"All staff extremely helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was good though the toaster is a little slow. Room was lovely however in the current heat would have appreciated air conditioning or a fan to cool the room down. Would also have appreciated the room to have a safe available. Extremely enjoyable stay and will definitely visit again."
