"The Ocean 1 is a no frills, older hotel in a great location. It's right on the beach and gives you a great view of the sunrise. The heater didn't work (it was still chilly out) but the staff quicky got us a space heater that worked fine. The toilet seat cover was broken and the toilet roll holder was also, but wasn't a big deal. For the price and location, it worked for us. It was clean and the room was nice. I would stay there again. "

"Staff was not attentive! Mywife called the office 3x about my thermostat not working she cursed me out and went and got warm in the car also hallway carpets need replace.. bar staff was very nice and great servers"

"The room wasn’t dirty but everything was broken. The heat did not work, the doorknobs were falling off, the balcony door did not lock, there was a big TV mount on the wall with no TV on it, the mini fridge froze and exploded all our drinks, etc. The staff were really talkative and kind, the beach view was partial obstructed as described but was absolutely fine! Parking was easy but they didn’t even ask if we wanted parking, they just automatically charged us for it and gave us a windshield tag. "
