We made a reservation at the Clayton and wished we had stayed there the whole time. It was wonderful and, I think, her name was Lauren who checked up in should get a raise for all her help"

"This is an unusual hostel in that there are private rooms with bathrooms too. It had neat boho vibes--reminded me of early 1970's when I was in college. Everyone was so friendly and kind. I had left a bag in a taxi and Sara (?, sorry I forgot already) ran and got it for me. My running days are behind me and I wouldn't have been able catch him in time. Plus she gave me a more convenient room. The room and everything that I saw was very clean. The elevator was appreciated. There is a coffee shop...

"The room was located in the perfect area! Very central to most Galway city which was great for our trip. The room was also very clean and the staff was very friendly!"

"Loved this stay. Affordable, clean, quiet. It’s a bit far for a direct walk to downtown but there’s a bus stop right nearby, and we didn’t mind getting the extra walking in so mad the walk multiple times anyways. The campus is gorgeous, you can walk by the River and get a nice view of a castle. Campus wasn’t busy at all. Highly recommend if you’re in the area looking for somewhere affordable. I’ll probably be staying here whenever I’m in the city in the future."

"Did not get the breakfast but the room was spacious and comfortable. I appreciated the tea kettle and chocolates. The shower pressure was good. Only problem was that housekeeping was cleaning rooms very early and it woke us up early, but the front desk staff said he would let the manager know and compensated us for our trouble, which was terrific customer service. I would recommend this hotel based on quality and proximity of Latin Quarter"

"This place is perfect if you are not looking for any frills. The room is well maintained and very comfortable. There is a shared kitchen and dining space. It was exactly what we needed as a stop between two destinations!"

"We asked for a double. It was advertised that it was 279 sq ft. The room we are in is not even close to 279 sq ft. We are being charged $400 per night for a room that is not as advertised. Lots of other issues, like a shower that will flood the bathroom if you don’t block the water with your body at all times. We only see windows from the other rooms 40’ away that look directly into ours even tho our room was advertised as having a city view. Also advertised as having an in room safe-we didn’t...

"The location was excellent, just right around the corner from the bus station and very close to the centre. To be honest, theres so many good things to say about the place. Very tidy and clean, and a really nice vibe. Free breakfaat in the morning - continental. Free tea an coffee. Kitchen had everything you need. Highly recommend and my four night stay was very good value."
