Really friendly and attentive staff and the hotel is beautiful. Quick check in and check out process and had everything we needed in our family room we stayed in. Situated on a very quite part of the forest which adds to the experience.

Absolutely amazing hotel. Excellent room and first class restaurant. The staff are amazing and wonderfully friendly and welcoming. Lovely spot in the forest where one can just relax in the garden and enjoy the sunshine and the stars at night not spoiled by light pollution. We loved it so much this is our second stay.

Just had a superlative stay at this recently refurbished hotel. We were awoken in our charming, comfortable and individual room to deers and donkeys running around in the ground. The public rooms are gorgeous, so much love and taste has gone into designing it and it seems like all the staff genuinely love working here, they are happy and keen to help. The value for money is outstanding. Perfect!

Recently refurbished so that was nice . We thought all the staff were really friendly and professional to both humans and dogs . It was nice that the team at the hotel all pulled together , conversed with the guests and looked good in their uniforms. We have no qualms about saying Book ! you will love it - its a very welcoming place in the middle of the forest.

Beautiful hotel with no expense spared on recent fit out with great furnishings. Very comfortable hotel with fantastic staff who's attention to detail is fantastic. I mentioned at lunch that I was Coeliac and laster when we checked in to our room gluten free biscuits were placed on the tea tray. A small detail but I have never experianced this before in an hotel. The food in the restaurant is also first class. Unfortunately we were unable to return on Sunday for lunch as it was fully booked!

It’s a steal location for nature lovers, tree huggers and general lovers of good service. The rooms are excellently laid out and have a super selection of drinks, hot chocolate, tea,coffees. The Bathrooms look and feel modern and have a high standard of fixtures and fittings. Very hard to find fault with this venue as Lucy and all the staff without exception go out of their way to please and accommodate your stay without being intrusive or overbearing. The drive from the main road is very private and in the thick of the New Forest, surrounded by very mature Oaks. The wildlife is all around, Wild ponies, Donkeys, Deer are abundant.

Really enjoyed our recent stay at the Moorhill House, the newly refurbished dining and bar area is so relaxing and looks lovely. The new owners have done a wonderful job and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. It was not our first visit and definitely won’t be the last.

On our first night the staff alerted us to an issue with our beautiful room and we were moved into a much smaller, cramped, too warm and very noisy room for the night. I'd booked for my Husband's birthday so this was very upsetting. The hotel staff were extremely kind and apologetic, gave us a complimentary gift for the evening and explained their hands were tied but we couldn't help to be disappointed. In the morning at breakfast one of the team came to us and again apologised, offered us a beautiful room upgrade for the rest of our stay and more complimentary items and made sure we were extremely well looked after throughout the rest of our stay. We did not complain once, we had no need to, this was simply the wonderful staff going above and beyond throughout our stay. We absolutely will be back in the future. The food, atmosphere and surroundings are all just so lovely and we could not find a fault if we tried. Thank you so much to all of the lovely staff.
