Low budget, nice wiew
The hotel is remote of tourist attractions which means no tourists or many services nearby. Hotel rents motorbikes at very good price on Hikkaduwa level. TukTuk arrives by inquiry to staff and cost 500 LKR. Recommended hotel if you want to escape masses of tourists. The scenery of the hotel is very beautiful, and swimming pool great-looking! Some staff are extremely helpful, as the manager and waiters. However, some not (like the receptionist who should be fired).
Next to the hotel a road that has traffic for people going to work - noise 5-6 a.m. Can be overcome with earplugs as we did. On the day time, noise is not a problem at pool.
At new years eve, there was arranged nice evening party and bonfire. Started to like very much of the hotel after 5 days!

Great swimming pool
This is a two star hotel and in an area severely affected by the Tsunami. However staff were very helpful and friendly. For us the swimming pool was a major plus 70 feet of cool clean water. Needs a little TLC but they are doing as well as they can. Isolated no shops nearby just rely on a tuk tuk.
Hint from me use the fan not aircon.
