We had a room for 5 and we have so much space, we loved it !! Beds were confortable, staff was super nice, the view from the restaurant and pool was amazing. Parking was sometimes a challenge, specially visibility but other than that , I highly recommend it.

Our stay at Layan Hotel was absolutely fantastic! This was our favorite hotel during our Costa Rica trip. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with an incredible view that we enjoyed every day. The pool was beautiful and a great place to relax after exploring Manuel Antonio. What truly made our stay special was the outstanding staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The location was excellent, with easy access to beaches, restaurants, and the national park. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Beautiful hotel. Beautiful views. We were in a corner room that slept 5 and it was huge! The pool is small but it had a swim up bar which was nice. It's a steep walk to a beach. The beaches in the park are a lot nicer in my opinion. I would stay here again.

My daughter and I stayed here and felt very safe. The parking situation is very challenging as it’s on a very steep pill with a lot of blind spots, but it is close to dining and shopping and the view is absolutely incredible. We really enjoyed the staff and the pool was the highlight. The beds are terrible. The mattresses are rock hard and the rooms are very dated. That would be my only complaint.

We had a great experience at the hotel. The view was amazing, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast and the dinners were extremely good! The rooms were spacious and clean- would definitely recommend. We will stay here again on our next trip to Costa Rica

We had an amazing time in Costa Rica. This property was clean, view was amazing, staff was super helpful. I'm giving it 5 stars but I do want to note some things for travelers: 1) Parking is extremely difficult due to small parking area. The staff is there to help navigate, but keep that in mind. 2) If you come back late, the parking gate may be locked and it's difficult to get the security guards attention to open it (front desk is gone at a certain time). Make sure to let the front desk and security know you will be coming home late or you could get locked out. Otherwise, beautiful property with great view.

The view at this hotel is amazing, but the hotel has fallen into disrepair. We almost never had hot water, which they seemed to be able to remedy after our complaining but then it would go out again. The pool swim up bar was never open or operating during our stay. There was a smaller pool with jets that looked like a hot tub but it wasn’t hot or operational. The quality of the bedding and furnishings was budget hotel level. Stained ceiling, missing knobs, musty cushions. The breakfast was very nice and the staff in the restaurant was great. Walking to the beach is somewhat challenging and potentially risky on the winding narrow road. I wish I could be more positive but it was overall disappointing.
