Excelent hotel a couple of blocks from the "malecon". We were there during the difficult times of February 22nd and the owner and the staff went beyond what was required to make us feel safe and comfortable.

Charming Mexican hotel in convenient location a few blocks from the Malecón. Breakfast was good. Rooftop had great view. Bed was comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Price was reasonable. I’d stay there again.

Friendly staff, good breakfast, good location, very affordable. Things that could be better: add hand soap to bathroom and some simple amenities (hairdryer and iron), better sound proofing (road was very loud)

This hotel is wonderful! The people working there are very friendly and kind. Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, air conditioning and breakfast is included. The property is well maintained, beautiful, and full of gorgeous plants. There is a rooftop pool and lounge area with a view of the ocean. I’m looking forward to visiting this hotel again!

Quaint boutique hotel with only 13 rooms and 6 employees. Staff were extremely attentive and rooms were clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was delicious, too. Close to the malecon, but far enough away so we didn't hear all the noise at night. Will definitely stay here again while visiting Puerto Vallarta.

Nice boutique hotel with a great staff. Nice location in centro, close to the malecon but quiet. Unfortunately, the pool was closed. The "Queen bed" rooms advertised in Expedia are actually double bed.

This is a hidden gem and a special little place. Feels very private with staggered rooms on different levels, and a nice pool for cooling off on the terrace. We were greeted very warmly and they even accommodated an early breakfast & coffee for us before we had to leave for the airport.

The atmosphere was amazing. It was a small paradise. The traditional free breakfast was made to order every morning. The staff was friendly and very helpful. It is centrally located and 3 blocks from the Malecon. There were lots of choices for eating out. We will stay again!

The staff was very kind, accommodating our family on very short notice after we were unable to leave the country as originally scheduled, due to the recent events in Puerto Vallarta and the state of Jalisco. The hotel itself is quite lovely, with architecture very typical of the colonial style of Puerto Vallarta's central, including a charming courtyard and indoor/outdoor dining area. Our room was well-appointed, with comfortable beds and beautiful saltillo tile floors. From the rooftop deck, you can enjoy great views of the ocean. There are several excellent restaurants nearby, and you are also in walking distance of the Maleón and several beaches.

Staff are great….friendly, accommodating, very responsive. Room very clean, good size. Breakfast was just fine. Recommend that bottle water be provided in the room, especially the day of arrival, since guests may not have water and tap water is not drinkable.

Loved the stay. Place was unique, room was clean, comfortable and quiet, staff was gracious and friendly, and the home cooked breakfast was awesome. This place was totally different than any of the generic hotel options. If you want to feel like you are at a Hyatt in the US or Europe, then this one isn't for you. If you want an old world charm hotel with friendly staff where every room is different and custom-built, plus you are in the middle of the old town of Puerta Villarta, then this is for you.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Pueblo Real and highly recommend it to anyone visiting PV. For staters, the location. Just one block from the Malecon, you have tons of options for food and prime people watching. Short walk or cheap taxi to the romantic zone for fun night out. The best feature was definitely the staff. They truly became like a family by the end my week. The AC worked well as well as the wifi. The bed was comfortable and the rooftop pool was a great way to keep cool while watching the sunset. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. There was an error with me check in and check out date when I arrived, and they quickly honored the dates that I showed them and were quick to accommodate me despite not thinking I would arrive for several days later.

I loved the helpful and kind staff and how clean the property is. Unfortunately the hotel is in a very loud neighbourhood and the hop on hop off bus passes by the windows multiple times and there's not enough soundproofing.
