The Hotel Chalet at The Choo Choo

"We had an amazing experience at Hotel Chalet! We loved the train carriage room. The lobby felt very grand on arrival. The caboose was a lovely touch and the restaurant on site is incredible. The only downsides were the pool temperature didn’t feel heated and the TV did not have smart apps and the Google casting did not work. We would love to come back if we are planning a future trip in the area!"

"We spent the night at Read House on our way home from SC. I had read about the hotel and it's resident ghost in the past, so ....of course, we had to stay! The hotel is one of the most beautiful that I have stayed in. The history of the site is an added bonus. We took a tour of room 311 and had the most engaging guide. I totally recommend a stay at this hotel!! You must explore the hotel and the grounds along with a tour of 311. Our room was beautiful, the bed super comfy, and the staff amazing. Can't wait to stay there again."
