"This was a good, 4-star yet affordable resort-style hotel. The rooms were fine, minor plumbing problems were promptly fixed. Our only issues were the pool hours (closed for siesta in the afternoon, and early in the evening) and the hotel restaurant was kind of expensive, so we mostly walked to a good local restaurant that was more reasonably priced. The included buffet breakfast at the hotel was excellent, I must say, and the staff were very helpful and attentive, even bringing an urn of fresh...

"I’ve been to Capri many times. Luckily, I discovered the Hotel Syrene— the best location, a block away from all the shops, restaurants, gelato cafes & transportation. The staff was terrific, and each one was nicer than the next. Plus, my room was beautiful and elegant. The bathroom and amenities are excellent. Loved every moment. I can’t wait to return next summer. "

"Quiet and peaceful hotel near the top of the mountain. The room was lovely, with the beautiful decorative tile in the bathroom. We had a fantastic view of the bay which also overlooks the pool, and we never felt that the pool was noisy and we couldn’t hear anything from our room. Breakfast had a ton of options and the hotel’s restaurant was fantastic. "
