"This is a beautiful historic hotel located in a pretty and quiet square in Ponta Delgada. A quick 5-minute walk puts you at the harbor and/or in the middle of old town. The hotel rooms were spacious and elegant. The pool and spa areas were lovely as well. The staff was courteous and helpful, and the included breakfast was delicious. Would happily book again if I return to Ponta Delgada."

"Lovely room with private terrace. The breakfast included in the room rate was very good . Location is central and staff was very helpful. We did spa treatments as well and received great massages and facials. I would definitely go back."

"We never received a confirmation from anyone (Expedia or the hotel) about the reservation so it was questionable whether we had a reservation. I attempted to call the hotel directly as instructed but because I did not get a confirmation reservation number the automated phone recipient hung up on me rudely. I attempted the two numbers posted only to get the same response. So it is a surprise to receive this email from Expedia about our experience on the check-in and on our stay. We are waiting...
