"Marin Lodge is a small, clean, very quiet hotel located 3 minutes away by car from downtown San Rafael. I especially liked the in-room microwave and mini-fridge. It is definitely not fancy, but overall a great boutique alternative to the larger brands that offer rooms at around the same price. "
"The hotel location was fantastic due to the easy walkable access to the ferry to SF. In addition, the hotel location was quiet, safe and accessible to nearby shops for dining, coffee, deserts and much more with just a short walk across the street from the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon for a weekend getaway."

"Check-in was easy and the manager was gracious and very helpful! Parking was reasonable and easily available. Room was spacious and well appointed. Bed was superb. Very comfortable.
