"This was a lovely location and the family running it was friendly. Appreciated that the parking was organized by room to ensure everyone had a spot. Most unfortunately you had to pay cash if paying at the property which we did not realize in advance. This left us scrambling as we do not travel with a large amount of cash. Be aware of this when booking or you may have to pay expensive ATM fees. There were also additional rules around food in the room that we did not see on the “House rules” section of their website but that were posted at the property, something to keep in mind as well. The property is small and cozy, which does leave you at the mercy of the other guests around you if they are noisy which was unfortunately the case for us. In the future the property owners said we should have called them and would recommend doing that if you have a similar experience."

"Our room at the Rustic Lodge Plitvice Lakes was so cute and so…rustic! We loved it! Staff were all so friendly and provided excellent hiking advise for Plitvice Lakes National Park. We ate dinner and breakfast there. I had the rustic burger for dinner. They provided gloves to eat it, as it was so juicy and messy! Highly recommend staying here especially if you plan to visit Plitvice Lakes National Park. It’s 7 minutes by car!"

"Everything was great. Clean comfortable room, helpful staff and communications in the Expedia app, good food. It would have been helpful to know that extras, like meals and transports need to be paid in cash."

"Excellent Breakfast included. Room was fabulous, large & comfortable. Walking distance to gate 3 for National Park. We dined in the evening as well, they had a good menu with great prices & wine."

"I am picky about hotels but this was good. Plus, there is nothing comparable in the area. It's either camping or motels so this is a no brainer! I wish the pool was heated but the rooms are spacious and staff was wonderful. Breakfast int he morning was perfect!"

"It was a beautiful place to stay near the Plitvice Parking area. The host and hostess let us check-in early, the place is spotless, the room so comfortable and beautiful, the shower was great and the breakfast was delicious. Also within walking distance to a nice restaurant, António’s. Yhid was a wonderful place to stay!"
