"This property is absolutely picturesque and in an amazing location!! The staff members were all very kind and helpful, and the whole resort has been maintained very well. However, there are some improvements needed with the restaurant quality and availability of food options. We never received a complete list of food options available and the hours for each restaurant.. most importantly room service which we definitely would have used the night we arrived from a long travel day. This would be easily fixed by providing a list upon check-in. The property is massive so it was a bit difficult to figure out what was open and when. Once we figured it out, the food that we did have on the property was mediocre at best and way too expensive for the quality. We learned that the breakfast buffet was $31 per person, so we opted not to bother with it since the other food we had at the Market coffee shop and the Sand Trap was not worth the prices we paid. And although the resort is in a gorgeous location, you do have to drive a ways to find good food. I highly recommend Ekelekua and 48 Bakehouse, both of which are about 15 minutes from the property. All in all, we enjoyed our stay at this property but would think twice about staying there again unless the food situation improves, especially considering how much it costs to stay here. I definitely expect more from a Hyatt Resort that claims to be 5-stars."
"Absolutely loved it here! And the restaurant downstairs was an absolute dream as well. Host and staff were very kind and attentive. Definitely would stay here again"
"We loved everything about this property is always our number one to when we travel to Puerto Rico!! Specially Melanie Lopez she always makes us feel at home she is a great asset to your team!!"
"This property was absolutely breathtaking. The open floor plan made the space feel so big, and the view from our back balcony and The outdoor shower was surreal. I wish I could post a video of this whole space because the photos really do not do it justice. The bathroom was very nice and the fridge was stocked with juice, eggs, bread, and other goodies for us which was so thoughtful and unexpected. I truly have never felt more at peace or connected to nature when staying in a rental home before. I will 10000% be coming back to vieques and booking the same loft. Beyond exceeded my expectations."
"Truly can’t imagine staying anywhere else in vieques!! We didn’t wanna leave. The location is incredible (right outside Esperanza town center). It’s one of the few ocean front hotels on the island and one of the very few with a “resort” feel. The pool facing the ocean was beautiful and it’s open 24 hours if you wanna go for a night swim or cool off after beach hopping all day. Most hotels in vieques don’t have pools and if they do, they’re not the nicest so I’m glad we had the beautiful infinity pool to use and relax at. Waking up everyday to the ocean view was amazing. We stayed in the king room with lanai and I’m so happy we chose this room. It has a huge porch facing the ocean and double shower in the bathroom. Would highly recommend this room for couples (heads up there is no door in the bathroom so this room might not be the best choice for traveling with friends.) The breakfast at the restaurant was delicious however it does take a while to get your food so plan ahead if you’re in a rush. My only feedback was that I wish the restaurant had espresso/coffee drinks. All they had was regular coffee and it wasn’t the best. Other than that, can’t wait to be back!!"
