"This property was everything we could ask for. Upon arrival, Brian, the front desk manager gave us a wonderful briefing explaining everything well and the property has a nice beach an easy walk in one direction where the sunset view is incredible. Head out the other direction just a short drive (or a long walk) and you have Carillo, an incredible beach that is lined with palm trees and so wide and expansive it almost seems private. The hotel room was great and the breakfast was perfect, served...

"We had a beautiful spacious room poolside at this charming hotel. The location was quiet but close enough to the town of Samara to enjoy excellent restaurants and services. Highly recommended."

"It is a very beautiful property with amazing views! The staff was very friendly. They were constantly cleaning. The food was great and reasonably priced. (We have had a hard time with finding good food for a good price in the previous places we stayed. The beach was incredible! It is a a tough drive on gravel would recommend a 4 wheel drive with good tires. We had a small car and had to go very slow. There is three creeks that need to be crossed we were okay because it is the dry hot season."

"We arrived hours earlier than check-in and were able to get our room pretty quickly. The front desk staff were very helpful and kind. The room was spacious and clean and we really appreciated the pool on those hot days. Samara is quite small, so we were able to walk to everything."

"Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that...

"Blue Iguana in Costa Rica was such a nice surprise. The location’s perfect—close to the action, but still relaxed. Staff were really warm and helpful, always smiling and welcoming. Food was great—fresh and delicious. Everything felt clean and comfortable. Loved the easy, laid-back feel. I’d definitely recommend and I look forward to returning! "
