"Lilly's Cottage is in a great location to explore western Crete both north and south coast. The sea and the mountains are very close by and there are lots of places to explore. Lily was very welcoming and provided us with homemade dishes which was really useful after a long day out exploring. "We stayed here on our way from Heraklion to Chania, as we had arrived late by ferry. It wasn't bad for a quick sleep and breakfast, but not a place I would want to stay much longer than that. The Good - The breakfast was quite good. One of the few places we stayed at in Greece that provided large custom omelettes. "This is a rather quiet family-style hotel, great to stay with kids or as a couple that is not really into partying. The hotel is a bit shabby but has all the basics needed. The lovely thing is that it has multiple cottages and is on the first line to the seaside. We only had breakfasts and they were very-very basic, to be honest, and very routine.
