"Great location very modern clean a cozy room with decent size given the location. There are6 stories and no elevator so going up and down the stairs can be a little bit exhausting The A/C didn't work but the wide window with beautiful views of Bastile square was a great alternative Staff is friendly and helpful and will carry your luggage if needed "

"Staying at Pavillion de la Reine was such a luxurious treat! We stayed in the apartment on site (le pavillion) with two teenagers .. lots of room, space to relax and unwind after long days of sightseeing. It had the best breakfast every day & we really enjoyed the helpful, polite and delightful staff. "

"Great option for a solo traveller, especially, as it was easy to chat with the staff and get useful input on my plans. Close to the metro, cafés and good takeaways. Very quiet room and comfortable bed. Don't miss breakfast in the stylish and relaxed "salon"... a wonderful way to start your day. The pastries were outstanding and the vibe was very old-world-meets-modern-times. Tiny, yes, but as described. Overall, I highly recommend!"

"Excellent location and apt had everything needed for an extremely comfortable short term stay. Great nights of sleep in comfy bed. Location was perfect with small, well stocked franprix around corner + boutique wine shop with incredibly friendly staff…larger grocery down block. Easy access to multiple forms of public transport, ended up using bus a lot. This is easily going to be my home away from home in Paris when I’m coming for a longer stay and want to benefit from kitchenette/neighborhood...

"This was a great hotel in a wonderful location in Zurich old town. The rooms were ‘simply’ furnished and very clean. Only slight points to mention would be the breakfast. We arrived at 9am (breakfast is until 10.30) and all hot food had gone, as had the rolls. Staff mentioned making more but that didn’t happen. The bath towels were on the small side and could be thicker in quality. We would have no hesitation in staying there again."

"Outstanding location in historic building is let down by understaffed and mediocre service. The hotel has no spa, no gym and breakfast area is shared with external guests. Hopelessly understaffed cafe with kind but inadequate service and speed. Communal areas need immediate renovation. "

"We just came back from our 4 night stay and we will be back. The rooms was so comfortable and ful of character with solid old furniture, thick fabrics, and a gorgeous claw foot tub. The building is authentically old but updated enough that it doesn't feel at all worn, run down, or a compromise to modern convenience. The staff was unfailingly kind and friendly, and the location couldn't be closer to the metro while stills being reasonably quiet. We will be back next spring!"
