"First time we have used this particular Accor Hotel at Auckland Airport. Have always been a fan of Accor and was an Accor Club member which I think was called Platinum and was a paid membership that reduced eating and drinking costs, free nights, etc. So my expectations were high and I am happy to report they were also met. "Pricing good and our overall stay was ok. On arrival we were met at the gate by a man( we weren’t sure where to enter, two different signs) who was unsmiling, abrupt and over the course of 2 days not overly helpful. Car park is terrible, dirty around outside of shower cubicle at the bottom. Kitchen amenities woeful, lift not cleaned daily, same rubbish in it for 2 days. Worst of all was having one card to open doors and turn on power in the room. If one of you goes out and takes the card the person left in the room has no power, ridiculous! I’m not hopeful for this review making any changes, the replies to reviews seem to be the same whether review good or bad"

"The receptionist who checked us in was wonderful and helpful during our stay she was the best part of our stay. The room was okay but very small could hardly move around, the walls are paper thin so you can hear everything next door which was not pleasant, especially at 6am. There is a $100 deposit I wasn't aware of until check in. Beds are firm which I liked but my companion didn't she woke up with a sore back."
