"Excellent property. Everything feels new - solid wooden internal doors, downstairs wet room, spacious kitchen/diner, bi-fold doors to patio and garden...We were 4 couples and thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights. It's about a 10 min walk to the town. You need to cross the road to get to a path - as it's on a bend visibility isn't great so it can be a bit hairy - if you're planning on staying with kids you'll need to be extra careful. Overall I highly recommend this property."

"The property is in a lovely location but would benefit from a little TLC, we found it somewhat musty. But it was ok for the price, and the owner was great with communication and left us a nice welcome gift."

"It was the first time staying at this hotel. It was a great place overall but what made it an amazing experience was thr hotel staff especially Matthew. Matthew went above and beyond to make our stay amazing he was genuinely kind and had exceptional customer service. Other staff who deserve a mention is Sarah and Anita. "I booked for 3 nights and ended up checking out after the first night. It was a disaster from the time arrived. I had confirmation that I had a parking space reserved only to be told that there wasn’t one when I arrived. They told me check in was at 3pm. I went back at 3.30pm and they said my room wasn’t ready. I finally checked in at 3.50pm. My room was on the 3rd floor. The lift was out of service. I had to climb 3 floors with luggage and 2 young kids and not to mention I have a mobility...

"Just not very good, reasonable price but not really budget or bargain, Great location next to the train, Great Western beach and Pub, Just not a very good hotel. The single room is tiny with a tiny bed and looks more like a student doss house. No air con, fan doesn't work, no lift to the 3rd floor. Staff often not available at all, has a chintzy looking restaurant in the front but no idea what or if they serve, so many better places to eat, or stay for that matter. Tired."

"Beautiful view. Would have liked a mini fridge. Newquay just so-so but my view of the harbor made up for it. If I remember, it said to sit on your balcony and eat breakfast but their restaurant doesn’t serve breakfast, so that comment should be removed. I would recommend."
