"The hotel was amazing. The service, the welcome, the staff were all very excellent. We loved our room with the beautiful views, it was nice and spacious. The breakfast was varied , lots of choices and we also enjoyed the dinner in the restaurant. Anoop, Anil, Kiran, Chef Ram and Chef Sarita were all very friendly and gave great service in the restaurant. "Building and Decor "

"Behaved like a new hotel, tried to over price pre booked room stating peak season. Rushed check out resulting in forgetting a wrist watch. Over priced lunch buffet which is not value for money. With a kid in tow unnecessary rush created for check out, checked in an hour late, hotel key card was disabled leading to room not getting open to speed up check out. Made guest wait to check if room amenities were in working condition, meaning guests were not trusted."

"Really nice place. Friendly staff! Kumily is great for exploring Periyar. The hotel is 10-15 min walk from the entry point into Periyar national park. Clean and spacious room. No hot water in the shower head. However, there was a tap with hot water in knee-height and a plastic bucket. So it was possible to get a hot shower using that. "

"A good property close to main road through Thekkady but removed enough to be lovely and quiet. Beautiful grounds, pool was clean there was some play equipment. The restaurant served a good buffet for dinner and breakfast, with both Indian and western dishes. We chose to eat the Indian food it was served hot and was very tasty. "

"Unprofessional behavior from manager who cancled our booking at the last moment sighting a heavy rish and nonreceipt of confirmation email from expedia. Later he made a saperate deal asking me to cancel expedia booking and book it directly."
