"Our stay here was a great experience. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and comfortable. Having access to the private beach was super convenient especially with a little one. My only constructive feedback would be to add a coffee pot to the rooms - note that they do have coffee in the lobby. Also notable is that there is no elevator, which did not affect our stay but could be an accessibility issue for others."

"Our room was quite large and clean. The lobby area and breakfast area were not so clean. The breakfast is mediocre. Some of the things in our room were not stocked. But none of these things would prevent me from staying there again. I could tell they were short-staffed, as is everyone. The guy working the desk seemed to be manning the breakfast area as well and did not have time to wipe tables, etc."

"The property is beautiful, the gardens are breathtaking, and the staff is kind and seen often working on the property. The lakeside view is exquisite, the cottage itself is absolutely charming. The location is perfect for a summer weekend. We will definitely visit again, Highly recommend."

"This place was fantastic! We stayed here for a few days during wedding weekend because we had a bad experience at the Resort so we came here the next day. The experience was much better than the Tawas Bay Beach Resort. John was nice as well as his staff. We plan on making this our regular vacation stay. I’m a Yelp Elite and they will be getting an amazing review."
