There are two floors and no elevators. No free breakfast. Otherwise our stay was totally fine. Clean room and nice staff. Walking distance to downtown was extra nice. Would stay here agsin.

Loved location of room and the ability to walk anywhere in downtown east Tawas. I didn’t like that we weren’t able to check-in to our room until after 5:30pm as they said it wasn’t ready yet at 4:00 pm which is check in time. Also beds weren’t comfortable for me but that may be a personal preference.

Loved the location. TV connection was unplugged and on floor behind TV stand. Mold growing in bathroom on ceiling in corner above tub. Shower curtain needed to be washed (stained around bottom hem). Room joined with another and the door between was not locked. Sat in dining room for 10 minutes or so and had to go to other room to ask if they were serving food.

This place is not good or bad just dirty we walked in to the room with stuff on the toilet and before all this we had trouble with checking in. The app said I can check in if I am above 18 so I booked and drove 4 hrs just for them to say oh we cant let you check in you have to leave or you need to be 21+ and I won't go down after driving up 4 hrs and they said they cant do nothing about the money either so we got in argument and at the end they finally agreed to let us in after wasting our time. I'll say the place is alright not the best but they need to do better and thanks to the staff who was at the front who tried to help.

Clean room and great service! The staff was incredibly helpful—our reservation mentioned a king bed with a pull-out couch, but the hotel didn’t have that available. They quickly worked with us to find a solution, which we really appreciated. The hot tub was actually hot (which isn’t always the case!), and we had a great, relaxing weekend overall.

We were disappointed we could not check in before four. They said oh you used Expedia. Not sure if we could have if we booked directly. It was $20 for early check in. We were very disappointed as we had been up since five AM the lace was empty and room was ready. But rule was 4 pm. Or $20. Nice continental breakfast but restaurant closed. Complimentary early check will be a must next booking
