Lovely pub with friendly staff and great service. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Great shower and comfortable bed. We ate there in the evening, best fish pie I’ve ever had and great choices. Breakfast was good, choice of cereals, yoghurt etc and plenty of fresh fruit. Choice of cooked to order hot dishes. We felt our stay was great value and would stay again.
Great food and service. The pub itself is beautiful with Clean, comfortable accommodation for the night. Good value for money with a very nice breakfast included. Would definitely stay again.
Stayed for one night with two friends. The room was beautiful and very clean with everything we needed. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to eat in the evening but the breakfast was excellent and staff were so friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again and recommend.
All round a really nice place to stay. I especially enjoyed the breakfast- the young person that served me had an infectious sunny disposition, brightened my morning no end!
Nice oub, good food and beers! Comfortable warm room!

Not your average hotel experience
I was looking for a one of a kind experience in Cornwall and The Kings Arms met my expectations. It's a quaint little pub with about 6 hotel rooms. We ate dinner and breakfast there and both were very good. We would recommend this site if you're looking for something other than a big hotel chain with a lot of charm.
Great sea view from comfy double bed, which had nice soft pillows! Super large television with lots of extras !
Room and bathroom a bit small though.
V good breakfast! We enjoyed the Mousehole shanty men ln the lively bar the night before!
Delicious dining at the Kings Arms during our stay
We loved our two nights at the Kings Arms. We enjoyed two delicious dinners as well as breakfasts while visiting. Our room could have been a little more spacious, but the bed was comfortable. There was no room service the second day . All the staff were most friendly. We would highly recommend the inn.
The room was very small. The bed was uncomfortable. The duvet was all lumpy. The floor was on an angle so it felt like you were sleeping on a hill. The dinning bar area was discustingly dirty. It looked like it hasn't been cleaned in months. There was a drunk woman falling all over the place. Its the type of place workies would stay during the week. Its not the type of place you would go for a relaxing getaway!
On the positive side, the staff were fine.
I wish we could have stayed longer here, but airline delays cut our visit short. As it was we arrived at 10:30 PM just in time for last call in the pub, and it was very welcoming. The family room was great with a separate room for kids and the breakfast was fantastic: full English for me and smoked salmon for my wife and daughter. Ten minute walk down to the harbor at Mousehole with views of Saint Michael’s Mount. Close to many other sites like Minack Theater and Land’s End. Worth a return visit.

Liked: Staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Lumpy bed; room tilted (head downhill) severely. Extremely tight, small room, no place to put anything. Staff was nice, food was good.
I had a lovely stay at the Kings Arms Penzance. The pub serves delicious traditional pub fare, and the full Cornish breakfast in the morning is excellent. My room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and I had everything I could need. The staff were extremely kind when I wound up breaking a bone in my foot while on a walk in the nearby fields. They kindly provided me with a giant bag of frozen peas - the perfect thing to ice my foot. I was lucky to stay on an evening when the award-winning local men's choir was practicing next door. They popped in after rehearsal for some snacks and a pint and broke into some of the most lovely impromptu singing - an unexpected treat. You know you are in a good place when it is filled with locals daily. It's perfect for any length of stay, with excellent access to all Cornwall offers. I hope to visit again in the future.
From the second I walked in the atmosphere and service was outstanding. As a total stranger I was made to feel welcome. The service the food and chat within the bar was all just exceptional. I have had one of the best evening out on my own with wonderful company around me that I have experienced in decades. This was made all the more special by the fact that this place is animal friendly as I got to meet a local military veteran like myself with his support Ferrets and we just chatted the night away. The staff have also bent over backwards to accommodate all of my special requests. This place is a genuine diamond off the beaten track and would suggest it be a first choice location to stay if needing to in this part of the world. Thanks all 😎👍
This gorgeous pub/B&B, The Kings Arms is absolutely wonderful. My partner and I booked a weekend stay here (Friday to Monday) as a base whereby we could easily access attractions and nearby places we wanted to visit ie the Minack theatre, St Michaels mount, Mousehole and Penzance.
The Kings Arms is located in Paul and is only a short walking distance to Mousehole. We had come down by train from Newton Abbot and during our stay we were able to use a local bus from Mousehole to get to Penzance bus station where we could also get other buses to other places.
The Kings Arms and customers service is outstanding. The staff were very welcoming and very attentive, always asking us if their was anything we needed to just ask.
Our room was beautifully presented and very clean.
The food is excellent. Lovely choices from the menus and the quality of the food is just fantastic with all the ingredients sourced locally.
Overall we were extremely impressed with the Kings arms and we will definitely be returning.
Highly, our rating 10/10
