"We could easily walk to all the shops and dining areas nearby and even see the top of Franz Joseph glacier. Just breathtaking ! It was a very cozy, comfortable stay !"

"Sorry to leave a review like this but truly this place needs an update. Very uncomfortable, couch slipcovers that are saggy and don’t fit, old mattresses, generally felt unclean. "

"This place gives a terrible impression from the road - grass and weeds 30-40cm high. Almost enough to make us go elsewhere. However, the young lady on reception was very welcoming and helpful - taking our bags in for us. The room was quite a surprise - very spacious, very clean and couldn’t fault it. The TV didn’t work and reading other reviews this seems to be a long running situation. The owners need to invest a bit of time and effort into the presentation of this place and it would be a wonderful place to stay."

"Booked based on photos of hotel with chilled bar area. Very surprised to find they do not open the bar area outside of restaurant hours. At 8.45 pm wanting a nightcap they told us to go to a local bar. May as well have stayed in one of the local motels or airbnb. Basically an expensive motel with a restaurant."
