This lovely property is perfect for a short stay or exploring East Gippsland. It comes with a comprehensive set of cooking/dining utensils, bathroom products, spacious lounge and comfortable bed. It’s also 15mins drive from Bairnsdale and walking distance to the Raymond Island ferry terminal!

Stayed here for 6 nights. Fabulous accommodation. Spacious, modern and clean. We loved the upstairs patio area and view of the water. Good location for exploring Paynesville and Raymond Island. Excellent IGA for groceries close by. Highly recommended.

Beautiful property in a beautiful location.

The property is located in the beautiful location, and inside it was spacious. Everything is cleaned and it had everything we needed. Very conveniently located for Raymond Island and Buchan Caves. We wished that could have stayed longer than one night.

Captains Cove Apartments are a great place to stay in Paynesville. Exceptional quality, newness and comfort. Everything you need in the kitchen and laundry, snazzy bathroom. Comfy bed. Walking distance to the main street and its restaurants, beautiful Russell Island and all the lovely lakes.

Had a fabulous stay at Captain's Cove Luxury Apartments. The apartment was really big with high ceilings and interesting design. Open, airy and lots of natural light AND spotlessly clean! Steep stairs to the first floor apartments, but that wouldn't stop me rebooking. Great stay.

Unfortunately when we arrrived, we were told that the apartment we had booked ( a first floor spa deluxe room) was not available and we were shown to a ground floor apartment. It was deeply frustrating as we were on a long road trip and looking forward to relaxing on our terrace. We were told by the manager that they had tried to contact lastminute.com.au to advise that they were unable to take the booking but were unsuccessful. We tried to contact lastminute.com.au too but no success. We therefore had to pay the full amount for a lower standard room. The room was well equipped but there was no terrace as such, rather an outdoor table fully enclosed with no sunshine or view. The room smelt very strange too. We raised this with the manager and he said it was their "room freshner" but frankly it was awful and we could not get rid of the chemical based smell, despite opening the windows. It smelt like urine unfortunately. It is a lovely spot, location wise and I am sure the first floor rooms are lovely, if you can get one. Overall disappointed with the lack of communication and the fact that we had to pay for a room we did not get.

Poor services I never seen

Kitchen was dirty and oven was in disgusting condition. In the morning I leave the room, properties Manager called me complain why not remove the rubbish in thre bin. I don’t see why as hotel.com guest need to clean up the room before leaving. Hot water systems was not stable as well, Middle of May was winter at Victoria, hot water for shower are expected. Overall experiences was poor.
