"Our stay at Nirjhara was amazing! We booked the jungle pool pavilion room and it was quite literally perfection. From the time we checked in until the day we left, we were greeted by name, with professionalism, kindness and with genuine warm smiles. The staff really raised the bar at this hotel. Aris, Doni, Tia, Duta, Hardi, Yohan and several others truly made a difference and elevated our whole experience. We will be dreaming about the exceptional food, luxurious spa, inviting pool and stunning waterfall for many years to come! We hope to come back. "

"Amarta Beach Retreat in Tabanan is located right on a natural black sand beach which has stunning sunsets and is a lot quieter than the crazy beaches in Kuta, Legian or Seminyak. Peaceful, beautiful and quiet - perfect for a 3 night stay and a great location to explore the stunning Tabanan region - esp. villages, magnificent rice fields Bali is famous for, temples, night markets and cosy hill side cafes. Still undiscovered by mass tourism, Tabanan is a precious jewel in Bali’s paradise and exotic crown. "

"The rooms were very nice and the breakfast was amazing. However, they definitely need to improve on sealing the rooms as there are so many large gaps on every window and door as our kids had so many mosquito bites. They also need to close off the outdoor bathroom as my wife was unable to shower or use the bath tub in private as there was a room directly above the open bathrooms, there were also lots of ants and bugs crawling all over the bath tub so we couldn't enjoy it."

"Look, we loved our stay here. We wanted an authentic experience surrounded by real Bali. Real locals, not overrun with tourists, good food and away from the traffic and bustle. It was perfect. We met with our local Balinese friends here that were made to feel very welcome. The staff were authentically friendly, no touristy pretense. Indomarat across the the road and the restaurant on site is simple but great, so all you need. Local ceremony nearby which was a great experience. We loved it. Don’t stay here if you want to have 5 star luxury, walk and find shops and restaurants and spas. Do stay here if you want to be surrounded by the real simple bali. Our ‘wooden’ villa had its own pool and kitchen. It was clean, spacious and beautiful. It had great air conditioning and gallon water available. We did an amazing day trip with our recommended driver by the hotel, Nicky. We are already planning next year. 11 out of 10. "
