"We enjoy staying at Stables Inn and will likely be back - however, there are always opportunities for improvement: In our room (#3) the bathroom exhaust was struggling and the light in the same unit was out, making the bathroom darker than need be; the shower was slow to drain; and the shampoo and body wash barely lathered (and I thought those mini-containers were no longer legal in CA). Minor annoyances, admittedly, but definitely room for improvement."

"Great hotel! The room was nice and clean, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I really appreciated the complimentary breakfast, free shuttle service, and the welcome drink. Overall, a comfortable stay with excellent hospitality. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Very nice resort. Between the Star Garden Trail, bikes, pool, and the courtyard area, this place is a great place to spend time and relax. Very interesting art work throughout the resort made walking around enjoyable. Staff was very helpful and they were able to answer many questions we had about local places to eat at. Jill at the front desk was very helpful, Christine at Concierge had a lot of info for us. Overall all the staff was great"
