"Check in was great, with a welcome glass of Port. Breakfast was perfect every morning with plenty of options and very scenic views. Room was little dated and the area itself is secluded. If you’re looking for that, than this is the spot. The highlight of the trip in Douro was the wine tour about an hour away. Beautiful area beautiful resort. "

"A very old and tired hotel. Room had not been aired for a long time so smelled damp and musty - I had to open the window as soon as I entered the room. Old furniture, old and dilapidated bathroom / shower. Span and gym not available. Swimming pool available but costs €18 for a swim! I dont expect to pay as a guest of the hotel. Breakfast OK - coffee cold."

"The hotel is absolutely perfect. The place itself is small and has a boutique feeling to it. The pool with salty warm water is perfect. The staff is quite helpful, kind and flexible since we were traveling with a baby. The breakfast is continental style for beautifully served with warm bread and fresh squeezed orange juice. The hotel room comes with a complementary wine hotel. If I had to make a couple of suggestions is to have more than one high chair available since sometimes there is more...
