The registration was not what I expected. I reserved this place about a month before my trip and I paid in advance just to find out that I didn't have a reservation by the time I got there. I took three 3 times to and two 2 days to make sure my reservations was good.

Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
Limited breakfast options, they charge for the minimal items and horrible customer service.
The bathroom was dirty, mildew on the corners of the shower walls, the bathroom door rusty and wood not close. The shower head was a nightmare. No hot or warm water as promised in the room description. I absolutely needed to shower so I did take a shower, the bathroom (not shower floors) but bathroom floors became flooded. It was a nightmare.
Hotel dis not honor my reservation.
Sold my room and did not let me know until a month later. I had a hard time finding a hotel last minute and ended up paying more than I had planed for.
NOT RELIABLE!!!!
I am immensely enjoying the spaciousness of my quarters

Horrible stay
No hot water in the room. VR BO never informed the hotel of our stay. The hotel claimed they had nothing to do with VR BO. Luckily they were nice enough to accept the reservation I had paid for. Do not reserve or you could end up with no room.
I love everything about it
The food was delicious, the staff friendly.
I will definitely go back.
Thank you

We came back from dancing at midnight. Gates were closed and there was nobody to let us in. Had to climb tall spiky fence and ripped a pair of $200 jeans. Got to the room- no water at all until about 2 am. Couldn’t shower after all day of activities and dancing. Bathroom very dirty. No water again ok the morning of departure for the airport. No shower again. Rental car splashed with paint since they were painting, but thanks to a kind manager it was cleaned up. Don’t recommend this place

Hotel Texel is Overpriced
Very few amenities at this hotel. Not enough value for the price. It is $25 per night too much.
Stayed 2 nights. Office staff unfriendly and unaccomodating. Room warm and stuffy, No overhead fans. Second night no electricity, Hotel had no generator so not even a light to find our way. Electric was still out the next day when time to check out. Would not rebook.
Restaurant had good breakfast and waitstaff.
While the proximity to the lakeshore, shopping and restaurants and shopping is good, Casa Texel Panajachel is marketed as a much better hotel than it really is. This is a two star hotel plain and simple and overpriced for what you get. Overall, I was very dissatisfied.
This was the only hotel available for the night we requested and it was the most expensive of the three we stayed at but the worst hotel. Very uncomfortable bed, toilet didn't flush, had to shower in standing water, front door was cheap like an interior closet door, The whole place was pretty bad.
