This second visit to Desert Hot Springs & Spa. All stall very friendly, pool and hot tubs open 24 hrs a day. Enjoy the food at the Sunshine cafe, lots of good food at a reasonable price. This year stay on lower level with access to pool and hot tubs. Look forward to returning next Winter.

Maybe I'm just a sucker for retro but after a hellish time of trying to find a Decent hotel on our way home last minute, we finally found this place...As soon as I walked I to the lobby I was transported back in time...this place is not trying to be old palm desert, it is! The rooms are getting very tired. If you’re not on the top floor and someone is above you, then you will hear every foot step as the boards creek constantly. The beds are decent but that’s all I can really say about the accommodations. The pools are a nice amenity. When you walk out your door all you smell is the garbage and weed. It appears that they are doing permanent monthly rentals as well here. I don’t think we’ll stay here again. Needs a major overhaul.

DHS Hotel is the only one in DHS with multiple tubs and different temps so the facility stands out. Staff was unusually helpful. This was the first time there was the smell of sulfur in the room (it's a mineral spring); it went away eventually.
