The host sent very easy to follow and comprehensive instructions as to how to find and access the property and was on hand for answering any queries. The property was well equipped and super clean. The balcony has the most beautiful view and it's a perfect location for exploring the old town. "Hotel Gombit has a great location, but, more that, the hotel room was spacious, with ample shower space, elegantly decorated, and with the most comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was great. It is a short walk from restaurants, shopping, and the fernicular. "A quiet, serene spot, right in the old city of Bergamo. There's a lovely, calm garden area, and our room was bright and welcoming, Though the bathroom wasn't en suite, it was private and spacious. It was a bit odd to not interact with any staff (there is an electronic check-in process), we didn't have any issues so there was no need to contact anyone. Very close to lots of restaurants and cafes and beautiful sites to explore. "

Hotel reception is up a steep set of steps, very friendly staff, lift up to room. Good sized room, good air con. Very low beds but comfortable & very clean. Good bathroom. "The really nice staff made us feel very welcome. If you're a good walker, you can walk to the Cita' Alta from the hotel. The rooms are bright, airy, and clean. Nice decor too. We had a room over the street, but the solid windows kept car traffic noise to a minimum. Overall, we were very happy with the hotel."
