"In no way this is a 5 star resort. Completely overpriced for the level of services provided. Staff members were all polite but definitely not well trained and transactional, food very mediocre. Spectacular location. This resort is priced at the level of an Aman or Mandarin Oriental-type property and it is very far away from that. Very disappointing for the price we paid. "

"Location was good. I never saw any staff so can't comment on that, kitchen facilities seemed good and communal areas were nice room was pretty basic but clean. Shared coed toilets and showers were pretty unpleasant, broken toilet seats etc. I've given a pretty low rating because i did not feel safe here as a solo female. "The room we were in, James Cook, was wonderful. Clean, well equipped, comfortable, with a lovely deck. It was also great to have breakfast provided each day. Steffan and Michelle are fantastic hosts. Warm, proactive, helpful, and fun. I highly, highly recommend this place."

Easy walk up from the ferry terminal and close to a lovely little park. Walking distance to shops and dining. Would certainly recommend and would book again. "
