Nice hotel for visiting Oxford
My family usually chooses to stay at branded 4-star hotel like Hilton or Hyatt but there is no such hotel in Oxford. 4-5 star hotels in Oxford are very expensive. So we end up at Westwood Hotel and we are not disappointed at all. This is not a kind of new and modern hotel. It looks like a traditional small hotel in suburban Europe. But the room we've got is spacious and nicely clean. We have one queen-size bed and one twin bed (not sofa-bed), so my teenage son can sleep comfortably. Its bathroom is also spacious. It has a nice balcony to sit back and relax. Its garden is peaceful. We have ordered a salmon dish from the hotel's restaurant. It is exquisite and colorful, sort of French/Italian food. We do not have much chance to use other facilities like reading room, bar, meeting room or even breakfast. We drove from there to Bicester on the first morning and checked out on the second morning. The location is very convenience to get into Oxford. So if we need to go to Oxford again, we will absolutely stay at this hotel.
