"This was an amazing experience with the kids, sleeping the a teepee and being woken up by the wolves' howling, not to mention a couple of raccoons trying to get to food in the special containers they provided outside our tent door. We also had a bonfire that kept us toasty in the chilly morning. It was a ways away from the nearest commode, but that's part of the experience! It's camping without the need to pitch your tent, with comfy beds and warm blankets. Not fun when you have a toddler...

"Pimishka is a great place for lake views & chill stay. Complete kitchen items and there’s a water provided. Though, I thought the place was located more in Old Quebec, but it’s closer to Ottawa. We had our itinerary plan to go to Mont-Tremblant and Montreal for the long weekend, we drove for 3 hours back and forth. I couldn’t cancel anymore the reservation, so we basically just slept in this chalet. I would recommend this place if you plan to just have a relaxing getaway and not going anywhere...
